Not content with a Brooklyn, a Romeo and a Cruz, David Beckham says the couple are now “working on” having another child now that wife Victoria has finished her Spice Girls reunion tour.
The former England captain told the Ellen Degeneres chat show in the US yesterday that the pair, who have been married nine years, both wanted a big family.
Asked about plans for more children, Beckham said: “We’re working on it. We’re very family orientated, so we’ve always wanted a big family, which was weird because when we first got together we never even discussed how many children we wanted.
“But it’s worked out that we want a big family and we love kids so it’s worked out perfect.”
The LA Galaxy star also afforded viewers a glimpse into life at their Beverly Hills mansion, where apparently, Dolce and Gabbana is shunned in favour of the birthday suit.
Beckham, whose fondness for designer garb rivals that of his clothes-horse wife, recently appeared in an Armani campaign in which he reclines in a pair of white pants - and nothing else.
Asked if he was comfortable naked, he said: “Around the house we are, yeah.
“When I was doing the Armani shoot, I was quite uncomfortable because I’ve never done a shoot before just in underwear.”
With three improbably named sons already - Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, five, and Cruz, three - the prospect of another addition to the Beckham tribe must be striking dread into the hearts of child psychologists on both sides of the Atlantic.
