David Beckham Surprises Wife Victoria With Motorbike Lessons

Los Angeles, CA (BANG) - Victoria Beckham is learning to ride a motorbike.

The former Spice Girls singer - who was pictured earlier this week dressed in black leather - has reportedly been obsessed with the vehicles for several years and was overjoyed when soccer star husband David surprised her with a course of lessons.

A source said: "Victoria has always had a thing about motorbikes. They're iconic and you can't help but look cool on one. She always dreamed of riding one but obviously it's a dangerous and time-consuming hobby."

"With her career and the kids she never thought to learn until David surprised her with the lessons."

"This teacher is so good he doesn't even advertise and there's a waiting list of over a year to get a starter course, so David pulled some strings."

Despite her excitement, Victoria is a little apprehensive about learning to ride.

The source added to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Victoria is nervous but looking forward to speeding down the Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu and around the Hollywood Hills in big old boots."

Posh and Becks are best couple?

Victoria and David Beckham have been voted the best celebrity couple of all time.

Posh Spice and her footballer husband topped a poll conducted by Microsoft's BigSnapSearch.com to find Britain's perfect pair of stars.

Victoria and David beat the other celebrity couples hands down with 50 per cent of the vote in the survey of 11,000. In second place with 11 per cent were Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole and her soccer star hubby Ashley.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - or Brangelina as they are now known - were voted top Hollywood couple with 35 per cent of the vote, putting screen icons Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in second place.

Olivia Newton John and John Travolta had a double win, topping the poll for best ever pop duo and best musical film duo for their characters Sandy and Danny from Grease.

Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders were voted best comic pair, while Ulrika Jonsson and Sven Goran Eriksson topped the poll for most shocking celebrity couple.

Coronation Street's Jack and Vera Duckworth were voted best soap couple with 31 per cent, only just beating EastEnders brothers Phil and Grant Mitchell who received 29 per cent of the vote.

Beckhams gift each other 'magic' necklaces

LONDON: Former Spice girl Victoria Beckham and her soccer star husband David have given each other “magic” necklaces featuring an angel to watch over them and keep them safe.

The Beckhams exchanged the hand-carved gold and silver Japanese talisman pendants to mark their tenth wedding anniversary next July, reports thesun.co.uk.

“The energy they emit is incredibly powerful. These pieces act as talismans of love, healing and protection,” 34-year-old Victoria told Vogue magazine.

She added: “They were hand carved by a master carver in Japan, who spends most days in meditation before working.”

Victoria Beckham has landed a £12million modelling deal which will see the former Spice Girl strip down to her underwear.

The 34-year-old had to be persuaded by Italian fashion boss Giorgio Armani to pose in the series of adverts, which will appear on billboards and in magazines.

She is following in the footsteps of her football superstar husband David, who posed in his underwear in an Armani campaign earlier this year.

Victoria posed for her first shoot in the three-year deal yesterday.

She said: 'To be given this opportunity to work with Armani is thrilling. I have so much respect for him.'

will add great excitement to the continued international growth of our Emporio Armani women's underwear business.'

Victoria has previously worked as a model and has designed denim jeans for Rock and Republic as well as marketing jeans under her own label dVb.

The news she is to model for the Italian designer comes as David prepares from the couple's home in Los Angeles to move to AC Milan.

David has told reporters that he has his wife's full support after it was revealed that his family will remain in America while he returns to Europe.

But magazine reports claim Victoria does have some concerns about David being so far away in the glamorous Italian city.

The last time David was separated from his family for a long period - in 2004 when he was playing for Real Madrid - there were allegations of an affair with his then personal assistant, Rebecca Loos, which the couple denied.

The former Spice Girl has been recruited by Giorgio Armani to launch his new global Emporio Armani underwear collection, to be unveiled next spring.

"Who better than Victoria Beckham to launch our new global Emporio Armani underwear campaign?" Armani said in a press release. "Victoria is a style icon, a dynamic lady whose influence and recognition will add great excitement to the continued international growth of our Emporio Armani women's underwear business."

Victoria's new modeling gig follows the hugely successful campaign of her husband David Beckham, who also stripped down for the famous Italian designer for his steamy underwear modeling debut.

DAVID BECKHAM - BECKHAMS DENY RIFT OVER MILAN MOVE

Reports claiming that David and Victoria Beckham were involved in a "terrifying car crash" on Friday in France have been dismissed as false by the Spice Girl's spokeswoman.

"There was no car crash," Cheryl Maisel told the New Yoek Daily News, after reports surfaced on several Web sites Sunday, claiming that the Beckhams vehicle struck a wall en-route from their holiday home in the French Riviera to Nice Airport. According to reports, Victoria was left in tears as David departed for his appearance at the Beijing Olympics closing ceremony.

Claims that the couple's black BMW was spotted with a smashed windscreen and extensive damage along the passenger side were, according to Maisel, overblown.

"David and Victoria Beckham were driving a car that had been scratched the day before when it had been left parked at the airport - they were not involved in any accident at all. There was no police, no crash, no paparazzi chase, etc. - just very incorrect reports via Internet gossip sites," she said.

Victoria is expected to leave France for New York next week to attend Fashion Week, which kicks off on Sept. 5.

Campbell: 'I love Posh and Becks'

Naomi Campbell has claimed that she is good friends with Victoria and David Beckham.
