Be incredibly popular with your child and do your bit for charity by bidding for some specially-created Igglepiggles.

Stars across the country were asked to turn the little blue star of In The Night Garden into a work of art to raise money for the BBC's Children In Need charity.

The designs will be auctioned on eBay from 4pm today, with all proceeds going to the charity and some will later be made into toys. Mel C, who is pregnant with her first child, said: "I have no doubt I will be spending many hours watching Igglepiggle when my little one arrives, so it certainly seemed appropriate for me to take part."

Doing swell: Pregnant Mel C shows off her burgeoning belly as she picks up baby tips from stand-in chat host Mel B

Pregnant pop star Melanie Chisholm stocked up on parenting tips during an interview with her former bandmate Melanie Brown.

Sporty Spice, who is five months pregnant with her first child, was a guest on The Paul O'Grady Show, which was hosted by Mel B yesterday while regular host is on holiday.

Walking on stage, Chisholm proudly showed the audience her burgeoning baby bump before sitting down on the sofa for a surreal tete-a-tete with her former bandmate-turned-interviewer.

Mother-of-two Brown, who is preparing to renew her vows to husband Stephen Belafonte in Egypt next month, has barely seen her former bandmate since the Spice Girls world tour ended in February.

As the two singers talked babies during the show, Chisholm revealed she has been given the chance to give birth with the same obstetrician as the other Spice Girls.

Mel C had been introduced to the doctor as the 2007 christening of Geri Halliwell's daughter Bluebell.

At the service, he joked to Chisholm that he could 'to complete the full set' with her before he retired.

Joining the pregnant 34-year-old on the chat show sofa was Sex And The City actress Kim Cattrall, 52.

After Mel B, 33, asked if there would be a second film to follow up this year's hit film version of the TV show, Cattrall replied, 'Yes.'

The three women then competed in a nappy challenge to see who could put diapers on the fastest and Chisholm was the fastest.

Chisholm and her long-term love Thomas Starr are expecting their baby in March.

She will be the last Spice Girl to become a mother.

Victoria Beckham has three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, Emma Bunton has a son Beau, Halliwell has a daughter Bluebell and Brown has two daughters Phoenix and Angel.

Mel C: I'm not getting married

Melanie C says she won't be getting married anytime soon just because she's pregnant with her first child.

Happy spinster ... pregnant Mel C will get married when she's ready

MEL C insists she won’t rush down the aisle just because she’s pregnant.

It had been claimed the former SPICE GIRL wanted to be a married woman before welcoming her first nipper into the world.

But speaking on the Paul O’Grady Show – coincidentally guest-hosted by her ex-bandmate MEL B – the singer said she’ll marry property developer THOMAS STARR when the time feels right for them.

And she laughed off rumours VICTORIA BECKHAM was on board to organise the ceremony.

She said: “I know there’s been a lot of things written recently saying I’m getting married and they’ve said the date and the church and that Victoria’s organising it, but, no, we’ve got no plans.

“But, you know, we say we’ll get married one day but just not at the moment.

“I’ve always wanted to have children and it’s just never been the right time for me. You have your path in life and you just follow it.”

Kim Cattrall also appeared on the show - and confirmed there will be a second Sex and the City film.

Mel C talks babies on The Paul O'Grady Show

Mel C has revealed she has been invited to have her baby delivered by the same doctor who brought all the other Spice Girls' children into the world.

Chatting to her former bandmate Mel B on Tuesday's Paul O'Grady Show, pregnant Sporty Spice revealed all the Spice Girls had their babies delivered by the same obstetrician.

A show insider revealed: "Mel C excitedly chatted to her dear old friend about babies.

"She revealed she'd met the obstetrician at Geri's daughter Bluebell's christening party and he told Mel C he was retiring soon, and did she want him to complete the full set?"

Mel B was hosting the chat show while Paul is on holiday, with Sex And The City star Kim Cattrall as her other guest.

Mel B asked Kim: "Will there be a sequel to Sex And The City?", and the actress smiled and very proudly replied "Yes!"

All three then went onto complete a nappy challenge, with Mel C, who had never put a nappy on a baby before, winning by putting on nine in one minute.

Mel B guest hosts The Paul O'Grady Show on Tuesday November 4 at 5pm on Channel 4.

MEL C HITS OUT AT U.K.'S YOUTH CRIME

Former SPICE GIRL MELANIE CHISHOLM is worried about the rise of youth crime in her native Britain, insisting the innocence of childhood has been "stripped away" by violence.
The singer is set to headline a gig in her hometown of Liverpool, England, next month (Aug08) in memory of 11-year-old Rhys Jones, who was shot dead there while riding his bike last year (07).
And she insists she is haunted by the child's death.
She says, "It terrifies me to think that little kids are growing up in a country that is getting more and more violent. Kids carrying knives is just too awful to think about.
"But we can't sit around being shocked. We all have to do what we can to try to stop it.
"All I think about is what sort of low self-esteem and sense of self-worth these kids have if they accept that being killed in this culture of violence is just a fact of their lives

Mel C rules out second Spice reunion

Mel C has confirmed that the Spice Girls will not reunite for another world tour.

When the girls announced that they were cutting short their comeback tour in February, they refused to rule out further concerts in the future.

In a statement published on their website, they said: "Really sorry if we didn't get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives. But who knows what will happen?"

However, in a new interview with the News of the World, Mel admitted: "When it finished, we all knew that was it. Never again. But in a good way."

Mel had always refused to reunite with the girls following their split in 2001, but was finally convinced to take part in the group's comeback last year.

"The idea of putting on a great pop show was appealing, as was the idea of spending time with the girls," she explained. "It was an incredibly positive experience. We're all older and wiser, and we put a lot of ghosts to rest on that tour."

'Melanie C' performs an exclusive live version of 'This Time'

Simon Cowell would probably call it a cardboard performance, but we think it’s amazing! Although part of me thinks someone else had a hand in the success.

Enjoy!

POSH: SPICE GIRLS LOOKED LIKE DRAG QUEENS

VICTORIA Beckham says she cringes when she looks back at the outfits the Spice Girls used to wear. The former Spice added that the girls, Geri in particular, looked like a group of drag queens. While looking at a picture of the group at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards, she told Allure: "Good God. This is the worst we ever looked. We looked like five men dressed as women.""Can you imagine getting any more make-up on your face? "Look at Geri - what does she look like? We all joke about this now, actually. You know, fashion changes."The style icon added: "Rather than ever looking back at my clothes and cringing, I look back at the make-up and cringe. "It looks like someone beat me up and pushed me onto the stage. None of the clothes were really that fabulous in the Spice Girls, you know."

Understand video news

someone created atopic about the understand video saying the were geeting impatient now and the moderator of the forum posted this

Be patient! The guys making the video have so much footage to go through that it's going to take time. We've seen some clips and they're doing a fabulous job with the editing.

It's going to be worth the wait!

Spice up your ... wardrobe

It looks like former Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham, has finally woken up and realised what the rest of us have been thinking all along - the Spice Girls looked like drag queens!

In a recent interview she was shown a photo of the fab five all frocked out back in their hey-day.

Apparently the old pic was extremely cringe-worthy to Vic, the now-fashionista.

"Good God! This is the worst we ever looked. We looked like five men dressed as women!"

Apparently it wasn't just their choice of wardrobe that copped it from Vic either.

"Can you imagine getting any more make-up on your face? ... It looks like someone beat me up and pushed me onto the stage."

Mel B's Spice vow

Melanie B vows the Spice Girls will "never" reform again.

The 33-year-old singer - who shot to fame with Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Geri Halliwell as part of the girl group - says despite their recent hugely successful reunion tour, they have no plans to do it again.

She said: "We started the Spice Girls, and it's very important for us - because we're all very much in control of our own careers individually and as a group - to finish it when we wanted to finish it. So we ended on a nice high.

"We decided when we got together that we were always going to decide for ourselves when we were going to stop, rather than it whittling out.

"But we'll never get back together now. That's it for the Spice Girls."

However, despite her vow, Mel insists she hasn't shed her 'Scary Spice' image.

She added: "I'm still Scary Spice, and I'm still me! I think as you get older, you soften a little bit, and kids definitely bring your priorities into a different light.

"I don't know if I've changed. I've just grown up as a person. I don't really know what else to say about that, apart from, 'Don't get me mad!'
