Geri Halliwell’s fitness obsession is reportedly causing problems in her new relationship with Ivan ‘Flipz’ Velez.
Dancer Ivan has worked with Geri on a number of occasions but the pair are said to have become close when he worked as a backing dancer on the recent Spice Girls comeback tour - but even though his job requires him to stay in shape, a source told the Daily Mail that even he can’t keep up with Geri’s daily two-hour workouts.
The source said: “Ivan is extremely fit but does not dedicate his life to body-toning the way Geri does.”
“He complains that her house is like a bootcamp. Geri has been involving him in stretching sessions after her rigorous routines and has made him go on long bike rides and early-morning runs.”
The source added that Ivan is much happier having some downtime with Geri’s two year old daughter Bluebell - but isn’t above performing stunts to keep her amused: “Ivan does ten headspins in a row to entertain her.”
