Mel B: 'I'd love to be US X Factor judge'

Mel B has revealed that she would love to appear as a judge on the upcoming US X Factor.

The former Spice Girl praised the reality show's format and said that she is eager to help audition hopefuls on the programme.

She told Closer: "I'd love to be a judge on The X Factor. I think it's a great show.

"I was speaking to Dannii Minogue recently and she told me everyone gets on really well. I've also met Cheryl Cole - she's lovely."

Last month, it was announced that Simon Cowell is to quit American Idol to focus on transferring The X Factor to US audiences.
