Emma Bunton ruled out a second Spice Girls reunion tour
But Bunton said the five former Spice Girls were still the best of friends. "When I'm with the rest of the Spice Girls, we know each other inside out and I just love being with them. I'm like a child. I spent some time with Victoria and Mel C over Christmas and we just gossip and have so much fun. I love being around them."
Bunton was speaking at the launch of the Hovis Wholemeal Challenge, where she encouraged members of the public to switch from white bread to wholemeal in a bid for a healthier 2009.
Bunton hinted that she and her pop star boyfriend, Jade Jones, might be trying for a second child soon, saying: "I definitely would love to have more children. It's on my agenda."
But the singer-turned-TV-star said she had no plans to take a break from her career. "I really, really want to do more acting. It obviously takes more time because of having coaching and having acting lessons, but that's the next thing I want to do.
"I love doing TV, it feels really comfortable and yet it's a real challenge as it's something different. Being in the music industry is so much fun but it's very different from the TV world and I feel lucky I've got the chance to explore another avenue."
Bunton confessed she felt shy about appearing on ITV's Loose Women in December last year. She said: "I'm quite a private person so it was weird being on TV opening up and being very honest. But it was really nice, especially to be around girls. It just felt like a real gossip and a bit of a coffee morning."
She said she wished fellow Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan, who has recently lost five stone, all the best in her forthcoming performance on Dancing on Ice.
"I will be watching Dancing on Ice. I'm a huge telly addict - I love TV - and I'm looking forward to seeing how Colleen Nolan gets on. I love seeing her up there - she looks fantastic at the moment - so we'll see how she does."
