Mel B shares her fitness secrets in a new DVD for those wanting to beat the post Christmas bulge

Mel B and Warner Music Entertainment are pleased to announce the launch of her first ever fitness DVD; Totally Fit, which follows a simple plan to transform the body-shape of the masses to the attainable level of the super-sexy mother-of-two Mel B.

Totally Fit will be available to buy in UK stores on December 26th 2008 - a perfect time for shifting that post-festive bulge!

Whilst many celebrities go to great lengths to get trim, Mel B's Workout regimen is very simple and easy-to-follow for both men and women, of all ages and body types.

28-day plan

Based on a simple 28-day plan, that Mel B followed after the birth of her daughter to shift excess baby weight, Totally Fit features a highly effective 60-minute do-at-home fitness class, broken into a cardio and advanced cardio workout, plus four 10-minute workouts that focus on specific problem areas - arms, legs, bums and tums.

Plus in the bonus nutrition section you can join Mel in her L.A. home where she shares her ultra-easy, super-healthy personal recipes and top-tips for a all year round healthy eating plan.

The DVD will be released and distributed through Warner Music Entertainment in the UK and Rhino in the US.

Biography

• In 1996 Brown, along with Mel C, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham, shot to fame as a member of the Spice Girls with the release of "Wannabe". They had nine number one singles, and two number one albums. They re-formed in December 2007 for a reunion tour which ended at the beginning of last year.
• Mel B was given the nickname 'Scary Spice' by the British Media because of her outrageous 'in your face' attitude, loud Leeds accent, throaty laugh and dress sense which was usually leopard print dresses.
• Mel B released her first solo album in 2000 - went to £28 in the charts. And has since released various tracks but not had any major chart success.
• In 2004, Mel starred in the musical Rent.
• In 2007, Mel appeared as a contestant in the US on Dancing With The Stars and made it to the final but came second. This led to a correspondent role in the US for Access Hollywood.
• In 2008, Mel co-hosted her own reality show called The Singing Office - where she tried to find the best singers in typical American offices. Brown and her husband Stephen Belafonte acted as Executive Producers for the series.
• Last year, Mel also launched her own fashion range 'Catty Couture', focusing on her beloved animal prints. She was also the face of Ultimo lingerie.
• In October, Mel presented the MOBO Awards for the second time, and also hosted the Paul O'Grady show.
• Next year, Mel will be on stage in Las Vegas for a dancing show called Peepshow at the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino.
