POSH and Becks have hired new housekeepers at Beckingham Palace—and amazingly they’re a couple called DAVID and VICTORIA.
The pair are delighted they’ve landed their dream job because they’re superfans of the celebs.
Starstruck Victoria Nash and lover David, 31, used to drive past the mansion in Sawbridgeworth, Herts, just hoping to grab a glimpse of their idols.
Now they’ll be inside dusting Posh and Becks’ treasured bits and pieces.
And sharing their names with the famous couple isn’t where the similarities end.
Because cleaner Victoria, 30, is a brunette Essex girl—just like Posh. She lives in Harlow, where the ex-Spice Girl was born, and runs her business, Pristine Domestic Cleaning Services, from there.
Cleaner Victoria, a mum of two, also likes smart cars and drives a black BMW—though, unlike the Beckhams’ fleet, hers is second hand and parked outside her £200,000 semi.
She wouldn’t mind Posh’s designer wardrobe too. She laughed: “I’d love to be able to afford to dress like her.”
Oh well, when you haven’t got the Beckhams’ bank balance you have to cut your suit according to your J-cloth, eh Victoria?
Like football ace Becks, Vic’s fella of 11 years is also a bit of a local heart-throb. Although when it comes to pin-ups Goldenballs would probably wipe the floor with him.
Not so much buff, more like buff up the furniture!
But this Mr Mop already seems to have got the hang of the celebrity lifestyle, preferring to go only by his first name when we approached him.
Like an A-lister he coolly replied: “I’ve got nothing to say,” before driving off with Victoria in the ageing Beemer.
Seems they’re taking to their new life like a Toilet Duck to water, then.
Their new status is surely worthy of a coat of arms—like the Beckhams—though a bucket and mops would be a more fitting emblem than a swan and crown.
Posh and Becks’s previous housekeepers Eric and June Emmett were cleared last month after being arrested in October over allegations that they stole property and tried to flog it on eBay.
Now starry-eyed Victoria and David are set to take over after being interviewed by Posh’s mum and sister Louise and secretly signed up.
Victoria the cleaner says on her Pristine website that the firm prides itself on being discreet. “We are invited into homes and trusted to clean, tidy and polish,” she boasts.
But she and David are unlikely to meet their namesakes—they’ve been told not to enter the same room as Posh and Becks when they’re home.
And they’re also meant to be keeping hush-hush about their appointment.
But when the News of the World approached them about their new employers, Victoria beamed: “I’m happy. I think they are nice.”
That’s that one gone out the window then.
