Geri Halliwell has said that she supports Peaches Geldof's decision to get married young.
"If she's happy being married then that's great," the former popstar told The Mirror. "It's good to be crazy and make mistakes when you're growing up.
"Then when you're 80 you can look back and laugh."
Halliwell revealed she first met Peaches when she visited Bob Geldof after the Spice Girls split.
"I knew the Geldof girls from years ago through their dad Bob, so I've seen them grow up," she said.
"[Bob] is a great person, and he's done a great job bringing up his daughters. I think Peaches is just working out her way in the world."
Peaches, 19, married musician Max Drummey while on holiday in America in August.
