Former SPICE GIRL GERI HALLIWELL refuses to move to America - because she wants her daughter to have an English accent.
Halliwell's former bandmates Melanie Belafonte and Victoria Beckham have both opted to raise their children in Los Angeles.
But the 36-year-old - who currently lives in London - refuses to leave the U.K. in fear of landing her daughter Bluebell Madonna with a U.S. accent.
She says, "I want my daughter to have an English accent because it's really elegant - also my friends and family are nearby.
"I have got some friends in Los Angeles but they are more dependable here."
