Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham was voted Major League Soccer's Player of the Week for Week #6. The Galaxy has a record of 2-2-2 and a total of 8 points which is just one back of the top spot in the Western Conference. Beckham helped lead the Galaxy to a come back win against Real Salt Lake. Beckham scored both goals as the Galaxy rallied from down 2-0 to get the 2-2 tie. This is the second Player of the Week award for Beckham this season and the third straight for the Galaxy. Beckham won the award in Week #2 as well. Teammate Landon Donovan won the award in Weeks #4 and #5.
