Geri Halliwell to guest judge 'X Factor'?

Geri Halliwell will reportedly appear as a guest judge on this year's series of The X Factor.

The former Spice Girl will join fellow judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh at tomorrow's opening Glasgow auditions, according to The Mirror.

A source on the show said: "Geri has told Simon she can spice up the audition process. She worked with Louis on Popstars: The Rivals when Cheryl auditioned, so it will be interesting to see what their chemistry is like."

Halliwell, who is expected to stay for just one day of auditions, has been brought in to cover for the pregnant Dannii Minogue, who will return to the judging panel later in the series.

It was recently announced that Konnie Huq will replace Holly Willoughby on the next series of The Xtra Factor.
