MEL B'S FAMILY FESTIVITIES
Former Spice Girls star Mel B had a ''quiet'' Christmas with her husband Stephen Belafonte and daughters Phoenix, 10, and Angel, two.
Mel B didn't want to spend Christmas Day (25.12.09) with her extended family.
The former Spice Girls singer has revealed she had a quiet festive period with her husband Stephen Belafonte and her two daughters - Phoenix Chi, 10, and Angel Iris, two, from previous relationships - because they wanted it to be a private day for the four of them at their Los Angeles mansion.
She said: "It was just us. We pretty much keep ourselves to ourselves. We're a very tight, private family. This is the family - the kids."
As well as her two girls, Mel and Stephen also look after his young daughter Giselle, from a previous relationship, regularly.
She explained to Britain's Hello! magazine: "She usually comes every weekend, which is nice because Angel shares a bedroom with her. All three girls together - it just works. I see Phoenix sitting and laughing her head off at the little conversations she hears them having, or when they start dancing and singing songs. She finds it very amusing.
"She's also got her own little life and her own little room where it's cool and she hands out. She has play dates over and she's growing up. Thank God they all get on very well."
