After Victoria Beckham was a guest judge last Friday for opening American Idol auditions in Denver, she did it all over again in Boston for callbacks.
And although Paula Abdul is gone, Beckham wants to continue on with the roll of the nice judge.
“I want to be nice to people,” she said. “I know how it feels to stand there and be judged ... I don’t want to shatter anybody’s dream, but at the same time there’s nothing wrong with constructive criticism.”
Beckham isn’t afraid to step in the shoes of Abdul either, who left after a salary dispute.
“I’m a spiritual person and I believe that you get back what you put out there, and I hope she does something that is bigger and better,” she said. “There’s something great for her around the corner, I’m sure.”
