The 35-year-old former Spice Girl wowed television audiences last year when she unveiled her reality series Mel B: It’s a Scary World, documenting the adventures of her and husband Stephen Belafonte. The show also recounted the antics of Phoenix, 11, and three-and-a-half-year-old Angel, Mel’s two daughters from previous relationships.
The star has been overwhelmed by the success of the programme, and is planning a follow-up series.
“The first show was sold to 45 different countries – I couldn’t believe it! I had no idea I was that interesting! We had so much fun doing the first series that we wanted to do another,” she gushed to the British edition of OK! magazine.
Mel is proud to say her youngest daughter Angel has inherited her opinionated nature, and finds the little girl hilarious. The singer is adamant people will respond well to a second season of the show.
“Always!” replied Mel when asked if there are many embarrassing moments in her household.
“My daughter Angel is three-and-a-half so she speaks her mind and tells it how it is. But I’m very confident when it comes to my family – they’re funny, outrageous, quirky. We’re pretty rock ‘n’ roll!”
