Geri Halliwell has said that she did not ask former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham for advice when she was launching own bikini range for Next.
The ex-singer told Easy Living that Beckham's own clothes designs are aimed at a very different market to hers.
Halliwell said: "I actually didn't ask her advice on this one... Victoria's doing very high-end, high-fashion.
"But she's always been like that. I remember when I was in the studio writing the lyrics for 'Who Do You Think You Are' and Victoria had been out shopping and had gone missing for hours.
"She came in and she showed me these Manolo Blahnik shoes - and I didn't know they were designer. I didn't know what designer was."
She added: "I studied design. I made my own clothes when I was in the Spice Girls. That Union Jack dress? I made it."
