Emma Bunton denies 'Spice World' sequel

Emma Bunton has denied that the Spice Girls are planning a sequel to their 1997 movie Spice World.

Reports suggested that the sequel would be an adaptation of the the group's upcoming stage musical Viva Forever.

Writing on Twitter, Bunton said: "Guys I'm sorry but I DID NOT mention that we would be doing another film! (sic)"

She added: "But we r very excited about r musical in the theatre!"

Bunton, who is currently hosting Five's reality show Don't Stop Believing, previously told DS that work on the musical was going "great".
