Mel B hints at 'X Factor' judging role

Mel B has hinted that she is close to signing a deal to become a guest judge on this year's X Factor.

Speaking to New magazine, the former Spice Girl revealed that an announcement will be made soon.

She said: "I can't really talk about that because I don't think it's my place to, but I'm sure some announcement's going to happen at some point and then we'll all know!"

Meanwhile, a source claimed that Dannii Minogue is also near to agreeing a return to her role for the live shows.

"Dannii is working on a deal with The X Factor, an offer has been made - but negotiations are still in the early stages. It looks promising though," the insider explained.
