Beckham 'doesn't care about being liked'

Victoria Beckham has declared that she cannot be bothered to make people like her.

The 36-year-old said that she does not mind taking criticism because she is secure enough in herself to live without being popular.

She told Germany's Vogue: "I lack the ambition to try and make everyone like me."

The former Spice Girl also laughingly dismissed claims that she is aloof and unfriendly, maintaining that she has an outgoing personality and enjoys meeting new people.

Beckham added: "I really like to talk a lot and I'm always happy when I find someone who is interested in what I have to say. David is rather quiet and reserved and I guess he's always quite relieved that I get to chat a lot with other people during the day."
