Victoria Beckham must have made a big impression on Simon Cowell during her debut as a guest judge on American Idol.
The music mogul has reportedly approached Posh to discuss putting her on the panel for his new venture – a US version of the X Factor.
Simon – who is leaving his position on Idol to start up American X Factor – is believed to have left messages for the mum-of-three on Sunday night, finally speaking to her shortly after her panel appearance aired on Tuesday.
According to the Mirror, he offered Victoria four guest slots as a panellist on the programme - for which she could make a cool $1 million a show.
"Money was not discussed but as American TV judges go, the minimum she would be on in a four-show deal is $4 million," a TV source said.
"However, if she was to become a permanent fixture, she could earn tens of millions."
Victoria is believed to have told the music executive she needs time to think about his proposition because of her fashion line and hectic schedule.
But as the source added: "Simon is incredibly charming."
"They did have a long conversation and although Victoria thinks she will be too manic to commit, she loved her time on the Idol panel."
Simon's decision to recruit David Beckham's wife might come as a surprise to some - she received mixed reviews for her American Idol appearance.
The first of a number of celebrity judges brought in until Ellen DeGeneres takes over from Paula Abdul, Victoria was branded "off-putting" by some critics, while others asked to see "more, more, more of Ms Beckham."
