Geri Halliwell looks set to wed as she visits vicar and shops for formal wear and new knickers

Geri Halliwell looks set to walk down the aisle, after she was spotted making wedding preparations in north London.

The former Spice Girl, 37, spent an hour visiting the vicar at St-John-at-Hampshire yesterday, sparking speculation that she is set to wed Henry Beckwith, who is seven years her junior.

After the church meeting, Halliwell and friend Kenny Goss, who is George Michael's long-term partner, spent time looking at formal wear, before Geri bought herself a new pair of red knickers.

As they made their way through the shops, an onlooker asked 'who should we be congratulating on the wedding?' and Goss pointed at the singer, The Sun reported.

An onlooker said: 'Geri and Kenny seemed to be spending the day making wedding arrangements.

'They were in the church ages before looking at formal dress at the tailors.

'Geri was giggling and seemed really excited. She wouldn't say what they were doing, but Kenny let the cat out of the bag.

Halliwell and Beckwith have been dating since last April. Before then she was engaged to yacht tycoon Fabrizio Politi and dated both Chris Evans and Robbie Williams.
