SPICE GIRL LOVER TINCHY STRYDER
Grime artist Tinchy Stryder has confessed he used to be a fan of 'Wannabe' hitmakers the Spice Girls.
Tinchy Stryder was a Spice Girls fan.
The grime star insists he is not embarrassed about anything in his record collection because his friends all had similar tastes.
He said: "Do I have any guilty pleasures? To tell you the truth, I actually haven't. When I was younger I'd like Spice Girls and things like that, but then everyone did so I'm not ashamed.
"My first choice is hip-hop. But I'm open-minded and into different types of music. I do like some British hip-hop but I came up on Notorious B.I.G. and Jay Z."
Despite being an idol to many young people, Tinchy says he doesn't feel any pressure to be a "role model" or promote certain messages within his songs.
He added to This Is Nottingham: "Some people may choose to become role models, but I didn't. It's new to me - I'm still becoming aware that a lot of people might listen to my music."
