Melanie C will make her theatrical debut in the West End production of Blood Brothers.
The Liverpool-born singer will become the first Spice Girl to tread the boards, as she plays the lead role of Mrs Johnstone, made famous by Barbara Dickson, Kiki Dee and Carole King, in Willy Russell's legendary musical at London's Phoenix Theatre.
Mel, who was known as Sporty Spice in the girl band and became a mum to Scarlett with long-time partner Thomas Starr in February, will make her first appearance in the musical on Monday October 26.
