It seems the jet-set lifestyle is catching up with Victoria Beckham and son Romeo.

The pair were spotted looking exhausted as they left through the back door after watching West End Show Jersey Boys last night.

Victoria could barely keep her eyes open as she left the London venue while Romeo also appeared a little sleepy as he was carried out by his mother.

Victoria is back in Britain from her base in Los Angeles at the moment ahead of a birthday celebration for Romeo, who turns seven on September 1.

Last night she glammed-up for the occasion in a little black dress, fake eyelashes and high heels, while second son Romeo wore a white shirt, beige trousers and black shoes.

Although the 35-year-old has spoken in the past about wanting a girl to add to her all-male brood, she now says that three boys is quite enough for her.

'Three boys - that's a lot!" she told American radio and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest.

It has been a difficult few weeks for Victoria and husband David.

Victoria has suffered criticism over her stint as a guest judge on American Idol.

She was reportedly given a £3million contract to star on the show and was approved by both Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller.

Bosses were reportedly worried that her thin frame would turn off viewers, and that her accent could do the same.

However, Victoria appeared to do well, with a source saying she was a 'revelation' at the second audition she attended.

She is now reportedly 'top of the list to permanently replace Paula [Abdul],' the judge who quit in a pay battle earlier this month.

After filming for the show, she said: 'I know how it feels to stand there and be judged.'

Despite the fact she was only due to make one appearance, she has also attended two rounds of Boston auditions.

Meanwhile, husband David, 34, has been struggling to maintain his popularity at current club LA Galaxy.

Fans have turned from cheering to booing the star after he returned from a five-month secondment to AC Milan, with teammates such as captain Landon Donovan also questioning his loyalty.

At a recent match against Seattle Founders FC, David was heckled by many fans.

One 'supporter' held up a sign stating: 'Drove 1,100 miles to boooo Beckham.'

Eventually, David received a red card for a foul on Seattle's Peter Vargenas and was sent off the pitch.

It is not the first time he has suffered heckling - last month, he confronted fans who continually booed him during a match against AC Milan and who displayed banners stating 'go home, fraud' and 'repent'.

He said afterwards: 'It doesn't affect me. You can't be liked by everyone. A lot of people predicted this kind of reaction. The majority of fans have been great... that's the way it is.'
