Ex-Spice girl Geri causes stir in nightclub

A-LIST celebrity Geri Halliwell put in an appearance at a South Devon nightclub.

The former Spice Girl was seen enjoying a night out with her boyfriend Henry Beckwith at the Fusion 2 nightclub in Kingsbridge on Thursday.

The pair arrived at the club just before midnight and stayed until closing time.

Fusion 2 manager Richard Harris, confirmed the star had been to the club on Thursday.

"She's been here a few times," he said.

"People tend to take a second glance when they see her, I think most people are unsure if it is her or not.

"Before they arrive some customers have heard that she is in here and they ask when they come in if she's here.

"Her appearance causes a buzz and a bit of excitement in the club."

But Richard said the laid-back revellers generally take the appearance of the world-famous songstress in their stride.

"The customers pretty much leave her to it, they are pretty good," he said.

"On Thursday there was a group of girls who wanted to have their picture taken with her. She was very happy to do so."

Geri, 39, is currently dating 29-year-old Henry, the cousin of socialite Tamara Beckwith.

In May Geri and Henry were spotted strolling through the South Hams village of Thurlestone.
