The former Spice Girl was pictured with the Mean Girl's star at the Mel's Peepshow burlesque act in Las Vegas last week, sparking rumours Lindsay wanted to sign up for the show.
Speaking in her Closer magazine column Mel said: "Lindsay Lohan was my special guest - I've known Lindsay for ages over here in the States and she came out to support me, which was lovely."
Mel continued: "She's a great girl and we had a lot of fun running around in the hotel before I went on stage. She brought her sister Ali with me and they stayed in the suite next to mine."
Sex And The City star Chris Noth also turned out to the opening night.
Mel revealed: "He told me my bum was shaking all over the place and he couldn't stop staring! Ha ha! He's been a good friend of mine for a long time now so he's allowed to say that sort of thing to me!" Other guests included Donald Trump, Charlie Sheen and Boris Becker.
Mel added: "I got a fab bunch of flowers from Mel C and baby Scarlet! We're in touch all the time and I can't wait to meet Scarlet."
