It's been 12 years since Geri Halliwell zigazig-ha-ed her way across America in "Spice World" and now the one time platformed sneakerhead is headed back to the big screen. But this time she's not playing herself (at least I hope) -- Geri cameos in "Crank: High Voltage" as Jason Statham's mean mommy in a flashback to Chev Chelios' younger years.
In the movie, which comes out April 17, Geri's seen smacking down young Chev on a "Jerry Springer"-like talk show, which explains a lot about how America's favorite on-the-run killer ended up where he did. I'm seriously psyched for the sequel, since the first installment was an unexpectedly exhilarating adrenaline ride. And from everything I'm hearing -- and seeing -- numero dos will be even more amazingly ridiculous!
