Victoria Beckham is reportedly taking Italian lessons in light of her family’s potential move to Milan.

The former Spice Girl’s husband David Beckham is currently on an extended loan from LA Galaxy to AC Milan and has made clear that he hopes for the arrangement to be made permanent. Victoria is said to have been initially reluctant to move the couple’s three sons from their current home and schools in Los Angeles - after only moving there from Barcelona in July 2007 - but accepts that she and David will have to be based in both cities.

A source told the People newspaper that fashionista Victoria hopes learning the language will help boost the couple’s social lives in the city - and also further her own fashion career: “She is determined to become fluent. It’s tough so far but she’s made it her own little project.

“She wants to show her support to David - and speak to the likes of Dolce and Gabbana in their own language.”

David is also said to have taken lessons to allow him to communicate easier with his new teammates.
