Mel B "loves" Victoria Beckham's new clothing line.

The former Spice Girls star is a huge fan of her ex-bandmate's range, claiming the designs are as good as anything from established labels like Christian Dior, Gucci and Chanel.

She said: "I saw Victoria's new clothing line and I love, love, love it! She'll definitely be giving the big designers a run for their money. That's my girl!"

Victoria - who was known as Posh Spice when she was in the British girl group - showed her latest collection at New York Fashion Week earlier this month.

The 23 structured tailored dresses - in purple, red, grey and black - featured capped or three-quarter length sleeves and were more demure than Victoria's previous fashion offerings.

The 34-year-old star said: "I think it is sexy - from a woman's perspective."
