IS MADONNA trying to rally up some A-list support as she heads to the divorce courts in her battle with ex husband GUY RITCHIE?
Sources say the Material Girl made friends with DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM last night after spotting them dining with fashion designer MARC JACOBS at exclusive eaterie Nobu in Los Angeles.
An onlooker said: "Madonna spied the Beckhams and went over and said hello."
I'd love to have been a fly on the wall during the conversation.
The Beckhams have forged multiple A-list friendships since making the move to Los Angeles last year.
But this rendez-vous - just weeks after Madonna split from husband GUY RITCHIE - indicates Madonna is looking for some star support.
Madonna is in town on a short break from her gruelling Sticky & Sweet world tour which will resume in Houston on Sunday.
