Geri Halliwell swapped girl power for pedal power when she took a bike ride in the sunshine.

The 36-year-old took advantage of the good weather and headed off to see her friend George Michael at his London home.

Wearing aviator glasses and a biker jacket the former Spice Girl opted for a sporty natural look as she took to the streets for some fresh air and exercise.

She recently changed the trademark red mane for a striking chocolate brown shade.

After arriving at pal Michael's house the pop star made a quick phone call before the door opened a few minutes later.

Geri wheeled her bike inside and was greeted by George's assistant, who let her into the house.

Geri recently released the latest in her series of children's books Ugenia Lavender.

She is reportedly releasing an album based on the character in the first week of December called Christmas Time - Sing-A-Long with Geri and Ugenia.
