Usually tight-lipped Victoria Beckham is speaking out on several different topics close to her heart- including wanting to have a baby girl in the future, as well as her oh so famous appearance and persona.
The former popstar, and current envied wife of David Beckham was recently interviewed by Allure magazine. Victoria Beckham told the mag, “At the moment, we're fine, the five of us. At some point, I'd love to have a girl, you know – just for all the clothes I've got to hand down. It would be tremendous fun." Victoria Beckham continued, "I've got great girlie advice that I can share."
As for her famous features? the Spice Girl apparently doesn’t impress herself. Says Beckham, “"I'm a normal-looking girl, and I just make the best of what I have. I'm not out-of-the-ordinary looking at all – I'm incredibly ordinary,"
Not that Victoria Beckham doesn’t realize that she’s developed quite the persona, and become a fashion icon. Beckham continues, “"I kind of created this character at the beginning of the Spice Girls. I didn't smile very much; it was quite pouty. I was famous for wearing a little black Gucci dress. [Except] it wasn't a little black Gucci dress, it was a little black High Street dress. It was incredibly cheap. I just accessorized it well and had the pose that went with it." Well, you fooled us!
And don’t be fooled by the fact that Victoria Beckham often looks as if she’s been carefully put together by a fashion and makeup army before leaving the house. It’s not so. Beckham concludes her interview by saying, “If I'm going to an event, it takes me about an hour and a half to put my hair up and have some makeup put on … I don’t have a stylist. I deal with that side of things myself."
Something tells us that it would be worthless for Victoria Beckham to have a stylist. We doubt there’s anyone out there who could surpass her style standards.
