SPICE GIRLS star MEL B and newly-single comedian JIMMY KIMMEL traded love life barbs on live TV in America on Thursday night (23Jul08) after the late-night host poked fun at the pop star's romance with EDDIE MURPHY.
The Brit tried not to laugh when cheeky Kimmel asked her if she'd written a song about her ex-boyfriend on her forthcoming solo album.
But she couldn't hold the hysterics back when the funnyman quipped, "Were you secretly thrilled that Meet Dave (Murphy's new film) was such a huge bomb?"
Mel B got her own back on Kimmel when she tried to find him a new girlfriend following his much-publicised split from comedienne Sarah Silverman.
She said, "I wanna know who's single in the audience. Let's have a look."
And when she spotted one "cute" fan waving at the host, Mel B added, "Come backstage after the show."
An embarrassed Kimmel chuckled, "That's unfortunate."
