1999 - GERI HALLIWELL, aka GINGER SPICE of THE SPICE GIRLS, wrapped up her first official trip in her capacity as a U.N. goodwill ambassador. Her trip to the Philippines was marked by controversy, though, since she emphasized contraception in the Catholic country.
