Scary Spice MEL B is said to be furious she was pipped by CHERYL COLE in the race to be the fourth X Factor judge.
Mel, 33, feels she is more experienced than Girls Aloud babe Cheryl, 24, and is mif fed SIMON COWELL ruled her out as a replacement for SHARON OSBOURNE.
Mel, who hosted primetime ITV talent show This Is My Moment seven years ago, said: "It was a success but it's never mentioned - everyone thinks Pop Idol was the first."
A pal said: "Mel's been keen to do more TV work.
