Experience Number 1 - Manchester

Lauren Whitnall, who went to the Manchester, UK Show on January 24th 2008, says:

"Well i went to the spice girls !!!! on the 24th January 2008 it was the 2nd time in 22 days that i had seen them but it would be the last :( days before i was really really excited , doing my mums head in, but anyways i didnt care it was going to be another one of best days ever. So i arrive at the M.E.N arena excited get inside see where im sat i begin to shake just like at the O2 i was nervous as ever. i kept needing the toilet lol but before the show i saw melanie c's mum and gran david beckham brooklyn an pheonix and melanie c's guitatist and some spice boys. 8:45 the opening video begins got my camera poised ready lalalalalalalalalalalalalaaaa good a jump excited wow i didnt sit down for the whole show depite a shooting pain going through my knee who cares it was the spice girls. I was sat on the side near where melanie c arghh my favourite stands for who do you think you are . the opening was fantastic i sing my cousin whens stops on then end of stop emma and melanie c make there way towrds where i was stood i couldnt stop shaking as my pictures showed. say you'll be there melanie c only really close again i get really giddy but nervous. never been as close to her as that ever !! Anyways the show left me speechless once again it was fantastic super one off special wow i dunno how to describe it it was peferect. Viva forever plays emma muddles up the opening lines that made me giggle as well as the song bringing a tear to my eye as its what i want at my funeral, melanie b makes everyone laugh saying northerners have the best sex melanie c saying she feel like she at home as shes form down the road emma saying the best shops are here and geri goes on about bands fom manchester and victoria how she met david.

Solo performances melanie b stood out for many obvious ruder reasons lol. melanie c electrified apart form people on my side would sing so i sang on my own who cares she was great throughout holding the group together many times. mama was special as last time in london my mum was there with me but not this time but melanie c mum and gran were there soo it was special for her. I must say i love the medley they do and at the end geri and melanie b where going on bout how someone sang 'ive got all my bitches with me' melanie c goes excuse me do you mind my grans here sorry gran did you see yourself on the screen. goodbye another tear to my eye melanie c stomps on her place on top of the lift thing you see bounce up and down. ok if you cant dance i love the dressing gowns. wannabe funny melanie c chases melanie b down the runways things and the last song of my experienc espice up your life reprise camera ran out of battery :( but still enjoyed it loved it but was devostated it was the last time ever yh another tear to my eye it was all over but memories live on. sorry to go the show is magnificient can't wait for the dvd hopefully fingers crossed."
