Victoria Beckham is a fashion force to be reckoned with thanks to her amazingly successful (and maybe somewhat surprising) dress collection. The fashion range, which was launched in 2008, has gone from strength to strength thanks to its classic signature hourglass silhouette. Rumour has it that 400 dresses from her first line sold out before even hitting the stores and she counts Hollywood stars Heidi Klum and Eva Longoria Parker as fans. And with her critically-acclaimed a/w 09, which she debuted at New York Fashion Week in February, collection due to drop in stores this week, her success looks set to continue.
For a/w winter Victoria has evolved the line, offering several new short silhouettes enhanced with fine fabrics including textured wool, stretch felt and mélange cashmere for day, alongside playful boucles, sumptuous morocains and rich shot silks for night.
