Mel C: Spice comeback single was poor

Mel C has admitted that she did not rate the Spice Girls' comeback single.

The girl group recorded two new tracks for their Greatest Hits album last year, with one of the songs, 'Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)', becoming a single.

Released in aid of Children In Need last November, it stalled at number eleven on the UK singles chart, becoming the group's worst performing single.

"It wasn't a very good song," Mel C said on Never Mind The Buzzcocks. "I was always against doing new material anyway. It was just a record company thing [in] trying to market the Greatest Hits."

I agree that this song was a bad choice for the Comeback. I think that they should have thought about what they wanted the comeback song to say about them and not just "Friendship Never Ends"....didn't it already finish in 2000?

Personally, I think that Right Back At Ya or Woman, would have been better songs. Or at least, they should have been included in the greatest hits!!!
